The Shores is Lakeside's only lakeshore community. It is a gated community only minutes from Pinetop, situated on Rainbow Lake. Rainbow Lake is an 88 acre lake with incredible wildlife and great fishing. The community consists of 121 private homes and 24 townhomes. There are three boat docks which provide lake access to the homeowners. Other amenities include two tennis courts and one basketball court. There are three gated entrances and a private security company partrols the neighborhood. The Shores is close to shopping, dining and the Blue Ridge Schools.
